I have known the world of work since childhood. My father started a manufacturing company in Houston when I was a child. I eagerly assisted, starting from inventory management in "the shop," counting pipes, nuts, bolts, and more. I gained an appreciation for teamwork and realized the essential role each individual plays within an organization. I progressed from inventory to assembly and eventually to the back office, where I worked on marketing materials. Eventually, I found myself in the front office, greeting guests, answering phones, and handling invoicing. This formative experience instilled a strong work ethic and imparted invaluable skills that remain with me to this day.
I stumbled into the financial services industry. By chance, a recruiter recognized my skillset was well-suited for a client relations position at a boutique investment firm. After several years, I took a leave of absence to raise my three children and care for my mother until she passed away. The experience of managing my mother's estate elevated my ability to empathize and connect with others facing similar situations.
The golden rule guides my approach to client service. My role involves the day-to-day administration of customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is exceptional. This role suits my personality perfectly. I firmly believe in treating others as I would like to be treated. Assisting clients brings me great joy. I strive to go above and beyond to provide the best possible experience. Majoring in communications drove home the importance of being clear and concise. A little communication goes a long way in avoiding misunderstandings, costly errors, and unnecessary frustration.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out & reading.
