Our History
2008
Brasada Capital Management was founded in the midst of the Great Financial Recession by four alumni of AIM Investments (now Invesco), which had been the 8th largest mutual fund manager in the US.
2009
Shortly thereafter, Brasada begins as a Registered Investment Advisor to hedge funds.
2012
The former Chief Investment Officer for Invesco’s municipal bond strategies, with decades of experience, joins Brasada to manage fixed income private accounts.
2013
Brasada’s private account strategies are expanded to provide a full asset allocation to clients.
2017
Houston-based Friedberg Investment Management, with 40 years’ experience managing three equity strategies for private clients, merges its practice into Brasada’s.
2023
GCI Investors of Houston, with a 27-year history in investment management, merges its practice into Brasada’s.
2024
Brasada Capital continues to conduct top quality research & has the pleasure of working for over 400 households to help them manage their hard-earned wealth.
