My first job after college was in Los Angeles. Working as an auditor for a Big Four accounting firm, I was assigned to some of the most prestigious clients such as The Lakers, Disney, and The Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts, and Sciences. After 2 years, 2 months, and 19 days, I realized that this was not the job for me, and that I wanted a career in something that was more challenging and rewarding.  That is when I proactively pursued my passion – a career in investments.

I moved back to Texas. I got my start in the world of investments with American National Insurance Company. A little over 4 years later, I was hired away by Jeff Friedberg at Friedberg Investment Management. Jeff had an outstanding long term track record and a unique investment philosophy. I worked with Jeff for almost 16 years, and my time with him was invaluable. Friedberg Investment Management merged with Brasada in 2017.

Searching for great companies that we can hold for a long time and that are attractively priced is the foundation of our approach.  I continue to apply the lessons learned from working with Jeff Friedberg at Brasada. In fact, we utilize the same investment philosophies to manage the Friedberg Focused Equity, Friedberg Dividend Growth, and Friedberg Equity Income strategies.
